Configuring the Internet Explorer browser
The first time that the Internet Explorer browser is opened it can be configured using the Internet Connection Wizard below. If there is an existing Internet Explorer browser configuration, or if the Internet Connection Wizard fails for some reason, it can be re-configured to work using the Internet Options settings. Other internet browsers have similar configuration routines.
Internet Connection Wizard:
1. Start the Internet Explorer browser. If this is the first time that it has been opened, it will start the Internet Connection Wizard that will walk you through the setup of your Internet settings.
- OR - Click Start, Run. Enter icwconn1.exe into the text box and then click OK.

2. Select the last option to manually configure your network Internet connection and then click the Next > button.

3. Select the second option to connect through a local area network (LAN) and then click the Next > button.

4. The Local Area Network window will open. Ensure that no options are selected and then click the Next > button.

5. You may be asked if you would like to set up an Internet mail account, select No and then click the Next > button. (You can setup your Internet mail account later).
6. Click the Finish button to complete setup and start the Internet Explorer.

You should now be able to access the Internet from your Internet Explorer browser.
