Dial-up configuration

1. Click on the Start menu, select Control Panel.

Note: If you are running Windows XP in classic mode, you will need to select the Start menu, select Settings, then choose Control Panel.

2. Click the Switch to Classic View icon.

3. Double-click the Network Connections icon.

4. Click the Create a new connection icon.

5. Click the Next button.

6. Select Connect to the Internet. Click the Next button.

7. Select Set up my connection manually. Click the Next button.

8. Select
Connect using a dial-up modem and Click the Next button.

9. In the ISP Name field, enter something memorable like Saturna Dial-Up to identify your connection. Click the Next button.

10. In the
Phone number field, type 250 539-2240. Click the Next button.

11. In the Internet
Account Information screen:
  1. In the User name field, type the user name (NOTE: this is different from your email user name. If you've forgetten the user name, contact us.
  2. In the Password field, type the Password (this is not the same as your email password. If you've forgotten the password, contact us.
  3. In the Confirm password field, type the password again
  4. The next 3 check boxes are up to you to choose whether or not to activate
  5. Click the Next button.

Check the box next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop if you wish to have a shortcut to the connection on your desktop. Click the Finish button.
