This website is currently being revised to reflect the changes of the replacement system. General user log-in is still in effect but will soon be replaced by individual user names and passwords. At the same time the automatic accounting and billing system will begin to operate. The support pages still generally apply, however, the updates will include Windows Vista, Windows 7 and OS X 10.5. The system maps on the Download page are current. Updates for Gulfside and Tumbo Channel users are now in the planning and deisgn stage.
The new system has been designed to centralize management and to control for improved technical response and capability. A major investment has been made to create an infrastructure comparable to that of large service providers.
The upgrade project has been fully funded by a $50,000 provincial grant and is being provided to current members at no cost. Members will not need to purchase any additional equipment to enjoy the benefits of the new service.
